Dr. Alok Garg, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, delivered an insightful guest lecture on “Nano-Technological Interventions for Environmental Remediation” at the Department of Chemistry, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, on February 28, 2025.

World Environment Day Initiative

To mark World Environment Day, the Department of Chemistry installed an Algal Tree at the University Bus Station on June 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM onwards, as a step towards promoting a greener and cleaner environment.

Winter Internship Program

The Department successfully organized a One-Week Winter Internship Program from January 12–17, 2026. The program was designed to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with hands-on experimental training and exposure to advanced laboratory instrumentation.

International Conference (ICCS 2025)

The Department of Chemistry organized the International Conference on Chemistry and Sustainability: Pathways to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (ICCS 2025) at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, from March 19–21, 2026
