Audit and Assurance workshop

Department of Commerce, in collaboration with ISDC, organized 30 a 5-day Value Added Course on Audit and Assurance workshop from 22nd July to 26th, 2024 .The session was led by CMA Ashutosh Kumar Mishra, who covered topics such as Corporate    Governance, Ethics, and acceptance, Risk exposures, Relevance of Evidence, Systems and controls, Internal audit, Procedures, Reporting, Employability, and technology skills

Department of commerce organized an insightful session on personal finance and strategic investment on 16th Aug 24.The session was organized by Finance and investment cell DOC .

A session on Yoga for well being on 26th Feb 25

Alankrit, Department of Commerce on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, a spiritually enriching online session titled “Yoga for Wellbeing” was organized on February 26, 2025. The session was led by Suryansh Sharma, a Sadhguru Gurukulam (Isha Foundation), Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher. The event aimed to promote holistic health, mindfulness, and inner well-being through the practice of classical yoga.

The bulls and bear summit

The Finance & Investment Cell, under the Department of Commerce, organized an insightful workshop on February 27, 2025, at LT-10, CSIT, with over 250 students eager to enhance their financial knowledge. The session focused on financial market trends, investment strategies, and risk management techniques to help students make informed decisions in the stock market

Value added program on SBR

The Department of Commerce, in association with ISDC, organized a 5-day value-added program on Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) (ACCA) from 16th to 20th March 2026. The sessions were conducted by ACCA Ananyay Tayal, who shared a strong practical understanding of the SBR paper and explained complex accounting standards in a very clear, simple, and realistic manner.ACCA Ananyay Tayal​ also guided students on how to effectively use the CBE (Computer-Based Examination) platform, explaining how answers should be structured during the exam and how to manage time efficiently.
