During her Ph.D., Dr. Rani had the opportunity to contribute to the field of Microbiology as a research fellow in a project funded by NBAIM. With over 15 years of experience in research and teaching, she has explored various aspects of Microbiology. Her expertise extends to two research projects as a Co-principal investigator, sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology. Dr. Rani’s contributions to academia go beyond her research endeavors. She has made significant efforts in organizing conferences, seminars, training programs, and outreach initiatives. The impact of Dr. Rani’s research is evident in her extensive publication record. She has published over 50 research articles in prestigious national and international peer-reviewed journals and edited books. Furthermore, her contributions extend to the field of patents, with two of her inventions having been published. As an esteemed academic, Dr. Rani has been actively involved in guiding and supervising Ph.D., undergraduate, and postgraduate students in their research pursuits, primarily focusing on Microbiology. She has been serving as review and topic editors in various reputed International Journals.
