Prof. Navin Kumar is a highly motivated and result-oriented Professor and researcher with over 22 years of experience in academia, research, industry, and product development. He has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed research publications, holds three granted Indian patents, and has successfully guided eight PhD scholars. He was a member of the team that developed an RT-PCR–based typhoid detection kit (VANSCAN), which was transferred to Vanguard Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi (2022–2023) and commercially launched on 27 April 2023. His teaching interests include Molecular Biology, Recombinant DNA Technology, and Omics Technologies, and his research focuses on molecular diagnostics, functional genomics, microbial pathogenesis, and AMR.
